1.
O quickly come, dread Judge of all for awful though Thine advent be All shadows from the truth will fall And falsehood die, in sight of Thee Refrain: O quickly come, O quickly come O quickly come, great King of all Reign all around us, and within Let sin no more our souls enthrall Let pain and sorrow die with sin. O quickly come, true Life of all for death is mighty all around On every home his shadows fall on every heart his mark is found. O quickly come, sure Light of all for gloomy night broods o’er our way And weakly souls begin to fall with weary watching for the day O quickly come, for round Thy throne no eye is blind, no night is known O quickly come, for grief and pain can never cloud Thy glorious reign.
2.
Veiled in darkness Judah lay, Waiting for the promised day, While across the shadowy night, Streamed a flood of glorious light, Heav’nly voices chanting then, “Peace on earth, good will to men.” Still the earth in darkness lies. Up from death’s dark vale arise Voices of a world in grief, Prayers of those who seek relief: Now our darkness pierce again, “Peace on earth, good will to men.” Light of light, we humbly pray, Shine upon Thy world today; Break the gloom of our dark night, Fill our souls with love and light, Send Thy blessèd Word again, “Peace on earth, good will to men.”
3.
There's a song in the air! There's a star in the sky! There's a mother's deep prayer and a baby's low cry! And the star rains its fire while the beautiful sing (x2) for the manger of Bethlehem cradles a King! There's a tumult of joy o'er the wonderful birth, for the virgin's sweet boy is the Lord of the earth. Ay! the star rains its fire while the beautiful sing, (x2) for the manger of Bethlehem cradles a King! In the light of that star lie the ages impearled; and that song from afar has swept over the world. Every hearth is aflame, and the beautiful sing (x2) in the homes of the nations that Jesus is King! We rejoice in the light, and we echo the song that comes down through the night from the heavenly throng. Ay! we shout to the lovely evangel they bring, (x2) and we greet in his cradle our Savior and King!
4.
Infant holy, infant lowly, for his bed a cattle stall; oxen lowing, little knowing, Christ the child is Lord of all. Swiftly winging, angels singing, bells are ringing, tidings bringing: Christ the child is Lord of all. Christ the child is Lord of all. Flocks were sleeping, shepherds keeping vigil till the morning new saw the glory, heard the story, tidings of a gospel true. Thus rejoicing, free from sorrow, praises voicing, greet the morrow: Christ the child was born for you. Christ the child was born for you.
5.
Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming Lo, how a rose e'er blooming From tender stem hath sprung, Of Jesse's lineage coming, As men of old have sung. It came a flow'ret bright Amid the cold of winter When half-spent was the night. Isaiah 'twas foretold it, This Rose that I have in mind. And with Mary we behold it, The Virgin Mother so sweet and so kind. To show God's love aright, She bore to men a Savior When half-spent was the night.
6.
The people walking in darkness Have seen a great light; For the nations you increased their joy; as the dawn replaced the night. And the yoke that is such a heavy burden: you have carried their plight For unto us a child is born, For unto to us a son is given,     And he will be called    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (repeat) Nevertheless, there will no longer be sorrow for those in distress. (x2) Hallelujah, Christ has come, Hallelujah a Saviour is born. (x2)

about

This album was recorded, mixed, mastered and produced within a week in December. Recorded at Providence, Rainier Brewery and the Brewer-Melchor home. Initially for fundraising efforts for our second full-length, we thought we'd offer it up for anyone during this season of Advent and Christmas. Many thanks to those who supported us financially, emotionally and coming out to shows. Merry Christmas.
